Welcome to DJC Nature Stay. By making a reservation or staying at our retreat in Dandeli, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please review them carefully prior to confirming your booking.

1. Reservations & Check-In Policy

• Check-in Time: 12:00 PM (Noon).
• Check-out Time: 11:00 AM.
• Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
• In compliance with local government regulations, all adult guests must present valid government-issued photo identification (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License) upon arrival. PAN cards are not accepted as address proof.

2. Tariff, Meals & Inclusions

• All cottage packages include accommodation and meals as specified in your booking confirmation (typically Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner buffet).
• A minimum advance deposit is required to confirm all reservations. Bookings are only finalized upon receipt of the deposit.
• Tariffs are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and are subject to applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST).

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

All cancellations, date changes, and refunds are strictly governed by our dedicated Cancellation Policy. Key terms include:

• 10% deduction if cancelled 15 days or more prior to check-in.
• 50% deduction if cancelled between 48 hours and 14 days before check-in.
• No refund for cancellations within 48 hours or for no-shows / early checkouts.
• All requests must be submitted in writing via email to book@djcnaturestay.com.

4. Wilderness & Resort Conduct

DJC Nature Stay is an eco-conscious retreat situated in a sensitive Western Ghats forest ecosystem. Guests are requested to maintain the tranquility and ecological balance of the surroundings:

• Quiet Hours: Silence hours are observed between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM to preserve the natural peace of the jungle.
• Smoking & Fire Safety: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside cottages and timber verandahs. Please use designated outdoor areas.
• Littering: Please do not litter plastic or non-biodegradable waste in the forest or Kali riverfront.
• Wildlife Respect: Guests must not feed, tease, or disturb any wild birds or animals.

5. Outdoor Adventures & Safety

• Guests participating in Kali River white water rafting, kayaking, trekking, or tiger reserve safaris do so at their own discretion.
• All water activities must be conducted under the supervision of certified river guides, and wearing approved life jackets is mandatory.
• Activities are weather-dependent and subject to Kali River water release and forest department approvals. In case of government restrictions or sudden weather changes, alternate arrangements or adjustments will be made.

6. Guest Valuables & Damages

• Guests are responsible for the safekeeping of their personal belongings, cash, and electronic devices. The management accepts no liability for loss or theft.
• Any willful or negligent damage to resort property, furnishings, or equipment will be charged to the guest's account prior to departure.

7. Force Majeure & Limitation of Liability

DJC Nature Stay shall not be held liable for failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, flooding, road closures, epidemics, strikes, government orders, or electrical/network outages in forest terrain.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal dispute or claim arising out of your booking shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Uttara Kannada district, Karnataka.
